Clay as Canvas
In this 8 week class you will:
· Learn how to trial a variety of methods, materials and techniques to find the best way for you to create the result you want.
· Investigate different clay illustration methods, techniques and materials that have worked for others through the ages.
· Experiment with several techniques to see which ones you love and will best work for you.
Susan St Lawrence has a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Diploma of Ceramic Arts and is a ceramist, bronze caster and tutor known for her narrative sculptural works.
She teaches drawing, creativity and ceramic sculpture and exhibits regularly as one half of the Small Stories duo with Helen Perrett.
Pay with Klarna in 4 installments.
Clay and tools will need to be purchased for this class. This is in the vicinity of $52 - $55, and should last the 10-week term.
Firings are paid separately, this will be explained by your tutor.
Poziom: All Levels
-Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring your own apron and an old towel to class. You are also able to hire an apron and towel for a $10 laundering fee - please ask your tutor about hiring these when you arrive.

Clothing that allows freedom of movement
Closed-toe shoes
Tie back long hair
Remove rings and jewellery
Please Note:
We cannot offer make-up classes if you are absent. Your tutor will do their best to catch you up when you return.
All completed work must be collected from The Clay Centre within 6 weeks of receiving your collection email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks due to space constraints.
