Get ready for an action-packed Beaver Scout STEM Day!
Join us for a hands-on adventure filled with LEGO engineering, beginner coding, and robot building that will spark curiosity and creativity.
Beavers will dive into science experiments, exciting investigation challenges, and teamwork activities that bring ideas to life. And when the gadgets power down, the fun keeps going with a glowing neon disco to kick off the celebrations of Beavers 40th birthday!
It’s science, imagination, and unforgettable fun—all in one brilliant Beaver adventure!
The day will start at 10am with the disco finishing at 8pm, those sleeping over your adventure will finish at 10am on Sunday morning.
There are two options available to groups:
1- Full day including the sleepover in the Jubilee Centre. Costs include evening meal on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. A packed lunch for Saturday will be required.
2 - Full day including the disco but no sleepover, costs include activities and evening meal on Saturday.
The sleepover is limited to 50 young people with their leaders and will be in pop up tents in the Jubilee Centre.
All attendees will need to bring a packed lunch on Saturday.
We have a limited supply of pop up tents available if your group do not have any, you will also need a regular sleepover kit (roll mat, sleeping bag, teddy etc).
For the disco please ask Beavers to bring bright/neon clothes to change into.
Full timings will be confirmed by email at the end of January 2026 but arrival will be 10am on Saturday with departure at 10am on Sunday.
Groups will need to submit their own NAN form and risk assessments, activity risk assessments will be sent out closer to the time. If you do not yet have an indoor nights away permit please get in touch as we can combine groups under a number of permits for those staying over.
