Printmaking is one of the fine arts (including painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture) that involves making a “master plate” which you then can use to make multiple images which are printed in reverse. In this workshop kids learn how to create their master plate and apply it to painted backgrounds creating a variety of works of colorful art!
Kids will discover the art of the father of impressionism, Claude Monet . Then they'll explore easy watercolor techniques and oil pastels in this Monet inspired water lilies art project and create beautiful and colorful paintings.
