Join us for a special evening with visiting artist Liberty Styles, joining us from New York.
6.30–7.30pm — Tap Workshop
A one-hour workshop for Fundamental–Advanced level tappers, aged 18+. A chance to train with Liberty, explore rhythm, musicality and improvisation, and work with an internationally respected tap artist in a relaxed and supportive setting.
7.30–9.30pm — Jazz Tap Jam
Stay on afterwards for our Jazz Tap Jam with the Sole Rebel house band. Tap dancers, musicians and audiences are all welcome — come and jam, listen, experiment and share the floor.
Social afterwards — stick around for a drink and a catch-up with the tap community.

Please come to Handyman Pub, Smithdown Road.
The workshop and Jazz Tap Jam will take place in the back room — just head through the main pub and follow signs / ask at the bar if you’re unsure.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can get started on time.

Jazz Tap Jam — Pay What You Can on the door
Join us from 7.30–9.30pm for an open Jazz Tap Jam with the Sole Rebel house band. Tap dancers, musicians and audiences all welcome. Pay what you can, with a suggested contribution of £5. We want this event to be accessible to everyone, so please pay what you can. If the suggested price isn’t affordable for you, don’t worry -you are still very welcome. If you’re able to contribute a little more and help pay it forward for someone else, thank you.
