For children in Reception to 15 years old.
Forest Adventurers is an exciting opportunity for children to experience nature in an outdoor setting. They have opportunities to build dens, cook over a campfire, use tools, experience hammocks and tree swings, hill roll, take part in outdoor crafts and so much more. Forest Adventurers facilitate the children's ideas. They learn to think creatively, problem solve, take safe risks, interact with one another and follow their own path for learning.
Forest Adventurers is run by experienced Forest School Practitioners who have escaped from their lives in the classroom into the outdoors! (DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained).

Please send your child with clothing suitable for the outdoors/the weather that day. Layers/wellies/outdoor shoes and extra socks are essential, as is a warm, waterproof coat and ideally, waterproof trousers. A coat, hat and gloves are essential if it's still a bit chilly! There are nettles on site so ensure that trousers and long sleeves are worn.
Please send snacks and a drinks for your child to have throughout the day, we will provide s'mores (marshmallows and biscuits) and a warm drink if it is cold. If you have not ordered food from Michelangelo's, please send a packed lunch.
Children are to be dropped off at 10am and collected at 3pm from the car park at Michelangelo's, Ryton.
