I discovered Forest School when my eldest daughter was a toddler, and haven’t looked back since! We came along to Forest Adventurer’s preschool sessions and quickly saw how beneficial it was to children and adults alike. I’ve loved attending Forest School sessions with both my children: hanging out in the woods together, making friends, connecting with nature, and having lots of muddy fun. I’m deeply committed to encouraging free outdoor play in children of all ages. Children thrive in the Forest School setting as they are able to move freely, learn at their own pace, follow their interests, and develop the confidence to make their own choices and learn how to solve problems. I’m passionate about giving children an engaging environment where they can try out new skills and challenge themselves. I enjoy teaching children to use tools to make woodland crafts, cooking on the fire, and can often be found having a cheeky go on the hammocks at the end of a session.
I’m a Level 3 qualified Forest School practitioner with an enhanced DBS check, and hold Outdoor and Paediatric First Aid training.
