During this fun and laid back 2 hour taster, you will receive 3 balls of clay, and after a demo from the tutor - make your own small vases/ bowls.
2 of your thrown peieces will be chucked in the “bucket of doom” (if you watch Pottery Thrown Down, you’ll know what this is) and your best 1 can be kept, to be fired and clear glaze will be applied. This process takes up to 6 weeks, as it needs to dry, be bisque fired, then glaze fired.
Our throwing wheels are situated in Globe 2, which can get cold especially in the winter and spring months.
Wear appropriate clothing and covered shoes- i.e. no sandals.no long fake nails, no scarves, hair tied back, no jewellery.
