GLOW BABY OPEN PLAY
Come and enjoy 2 hours and 30 minutes of play, sensory exploration and family time at Glow Baby! 🐘
Our Open Play sessions give you access to all of our wonderful play spaces, with plenty of time to explore at your own pace.
During this session, you’ll be able to help your child create a design that will then be submitted to My Child’s Art, where you can then order unique and personalised cards and gifts ready for Christmas! 🎄
🏡 PLAY CAFÉ
Explore our soft play area, imaginative role play zone, baby area and colouring table, while grown-ups can relax with something yummy from the café.
🌙 SENSORY BARN
Step into our beautiful dark sensory space, filled with magical sensory lighting, interactive equipment and our much-loved ball pit.
🌿 OUTDOOR PLAY
Head outside to explore our park and wooden obstacle course, plus our patio play area with mud kitchen, Little Tikes cars and seasonal activities - from water play in the sunshine to puddle splashing on rainy days!
☕ CAFÉ OPEN THROUGHOUT
Our café will be serving hot and cold drinks, delicious coffee, paninis, children’s picky plates and seasonal specials throughout your session.
⏰ Your Open Play session lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to play, explore the different areas and stop for something to eat or drink without feeling rushed.
👶 Recommended for ages 0–6 years.
Older siblings are very welcome; we simply ask that they play considerately around our littlest visitors.
💕 Babies aged 3 months and under do not require a ticket when attending with a paying sibling.
👨👩👧 Each child’s ticket includes admission for up to two accompanying adults.

Here are a few little things to know before your visit to help you make the most of your time with us. 🐘
⏰ YOUR SESSION
Your Open Play session lasts for 2 hours and 30 minutes and begins at 9:45am.
Although our Open Play sessions now have a set start and finish time, you absolutely do not have to arrive right at the beginning of the session! 💗
We know life with little ones doesn’t always run to schedule - naps overrun, mornings take longer than expected and sometimes getting out of the house is an achievement in itself! 😂
For example, if your session runs from 9:45am-12:15pm, you’re welcome to arrive at 9:45am, 10:30am, 11am… whenever works best for you!
Just remember that the session will still finish promptly at 12:15pm, regardless of your arrival time, so arriving later simply means you’ll have a little less time to play.
There’s no need to let us know if you’re running late - just arrive when you’re ready and enjoy the rest of your session with us.
🏡 WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Your Open Play ticket gives you access to our Play Café, Sensory Barn and outdoor play areas, so you’re welcome to move between the different spaces and explore at your own pace.
🧦 SOCKS, SHOES & WHAT TO WEAR
Our Sensory Barn is a shoes-off space and socks must be worn, so please make sure both little ones and grown-ups bring socks with them.
We also recommend dressing for the weather if you’d like to enjoy our outdoor areas - wellies and waterproofs are perfect for puddle-splashing days! ☔️
☕️ FOOD & DRINK
Our café will be open throughout your session, serving delicious coffee, hot and cold drinks, paninis, children’s picky plates and seasonal specials.
We kindly ask that outside food is not brought into Glow Baby, with exceptions for babies and those with allergies or specific dietary requirements. Please speak to a member of the team if you need any help with allergens.
👨👩👧 ADULTS
Each child’s ticket includes up to two accompanying adults.
If you’re hoping to bring any additional adults, please get in touch with us before your session and we’ll do our best to accommodate them depending on capacity. 💗
👶 BABIES & OLDER SIBLINGS
Babies aged 3 months and under do not require their own ticket when attending with a paying sibling.
Open Play is primarily designed for children aged 0–6 years, although older siblings are very welcome. We simply ask that they play considerately and are mindful of our littlest visitors.
🌿 OUTDOOR PLAY
Our outdoor spaces are there to be enjoyed whatever the British weather decides to do! ☀️☔️
Our outdoor offering can change with the seasons, with everything from water play on warm days to muddy adventures and puddle splashing when the weather turns.
💗 AND FINALLY…
Please remember that parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their children throughout their visit.
