Join our Woodland Stay and Play, aimed for children aged up to 5, but older children always welcome.
Have a fun time playing outdoors enjoying activities such as; mud kitchen, digging zone, construction role play, minibeast hunting, exploration, swings and hammock. A different craft each week, usually linked to the seasons. Seasonal activities and resources appear as the seasons change.
The highlight is the fire where children can have a hot chocolate and toast a marshmallow. Adults are offered a hot drink and biscuits.
Pay as you go option if you are unable to commit to block booking.
The sessions will run in all weather's except when there are high winds or severe snow or ice.
Sessions are non refundable except when cancelled by Green Explorers.
During the group, parents/carers have responsibility for their child/ren, please follow safety instructions from the group leader (Claire) to keep everyone safe. Activities will be available, suitable for the age range of children attending, but parents/carers should assist their child/ren based on their abilities throughout.
Make sure everyone attending has suitable footwear and clothing for the days weather.
Waterproofs and wellies are required on wet days.
On warmer days, closed toe footwear is recommended and trousers/long sleeves are advised to protect against branches and plants such as nettles.

One child (adults free)
The group is aimed for walking children to school age (aproximately 1-4 years). Older children are welcome, we just ask that they play respectfully around the smaller children. Up to 2 adults per child can attend for free, pre-walking babies attend for free (no ticket required). If your only child is not yet walking but you would like to come along, please select the pre-walking baby ticket.
