George Fox, Illustrator
George Fox is an award-winning Brighton-based illustrator known for intricate, Heath
Robinson–inspired work that reveals the hidden mechanics behind everyday actions. His clients include the Olympics, Formula 1, Wimbledon, the Premier League, Sony, Fatboy Slim, JCB, and the London School of Economics.
In this talk, George explores the evolving relationship between traditional art, AI and reactivity. Rooted in sketchbooks and ink, his practice has expanded through augmented reality and into AI, which he views not as a replacement for traditional methods but as the next chapter in artistic evolution—raising questions of authorship, integrity, and human intent.
