Trustee Training - Voluntary Sector Support

Are you a trustee for a charity that works in or covers Horsham District?

H3 Solicitors are running a fully funded training session for charity trustees. Whether you are a new to the role or have been doing it for years, this training is relevant for you.

The course will cover:
• Duties & Responsibilities of trustees.
• Charity Governance Code.
• Serious incident reporting.
• Charities Act 2022.
• Constitutions / governing documents.
• Recruitment and vetting of trustees.

H3 Solicitors specialise in charity law and are experienced in working with the local voluntary sector.

Time: 9.30am – 1pm
Where: Rother Hall, Pulborough Village Hall, Swan View, Lower Street, Pulborough. RH20 2BF
Cost: Free (£10 deposit when booking, refundable on attendance). This training is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

If you work during the day but would like to attend, you may be able to request time off from your employer for training in your role as a trustee. Deposit information
We will take a £10 deposit to secure your place on this training course. Your deposit will be refunded if:
• You attend the training course.
• You cancel your place with more than 48 hours notice.

We cannot refund your deposit if:
• You cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
• You do not show up on the day of the training.
