Get creative this Christmas and join us at Henfield Pottery for a festive afternoon making your very own ceramic Christmas wreath!
In this 3.5-hour workshop, you'll work with clay to design and create a beautiful, personalised wreath that can become part of your Christmas decorations for years to come.
We'll guide you through the process, from creating your wreath base to making and attaching decorative elements such as holly leaves, berries, stars, bows and other festive details. You'll have plenty of freedom to make your wreath your own, whether you prefer something traditional, contemporary or a little more playful.
What to expect:
Learn hand-building techniques suitable for complete beginners.
Design and create your own ceramic wreath.
Make a selection of festive decorations using clay.
Learn how to attach, texture and refine your decorations.
Add colour and decorative finishes to personalise your wreath.
Enjoy a relaxed, creative afternoon in our welcoming pottery studio.
All materials, equipment, tuition, glazing and kiln firing are included.
Once your wreath has been completed, we'll carefully dry and fire it in our kilns, ready for you to collect once the ceramic process is finished.
No previous pottery experience is needed. Just bring your creativity and a little festive spirit!

What to wear
What to bring
You don't need to bring any equipment or materials. Everything you'll need is provided.
Your finished wreath
Your wreath will need to dry thoroughly before being fired and finished in our kilns. We'll contact you when it's ready for collection.
As each piece is handmade, drying and firing times can vary.
Accessibility
Our main studio space is accessible, although there is a step into the toilet area. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us ahead of your visit.
