Spend a summer morning getting muddy, making memories and creating something you’ll both get to keep.
In this relaxed three-hour workshop, you’ll work together to make either a pair of mugs or a pair of bud vases. Once you’ve finished building, you can bring your pieces to life with colour, pattern and decoration using underglazes.
No pottery experience is needed. We’ll guide you through each stage, from turning a lump of clay into a usable form to adding those wonderfully personal finishing touches.
One ticket is for two people and includes two finished pieces.

Please arrive around 5–10 minutes before the workshop begins so we can start promptly at 9.30am.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little clay on.
This workshop is suitable for ages 10+. Anyone under 16 must attend and make alongside a participating adult.
Your pottery will not be ready to take home on the day. We will carefully dry, clear glaze and fire your pieces, then contact you when they are ready to collect from Henfield Pottery.
