A fun activity club aimed at all abilities from the complete beginner to a competent paddler.
October Half Term is a Leaside Adventure Week. We will be embarking on local adventures on the River Lea and the surrounding areas.
These are the activities based out of Leaside that we will be offering (weather dependent):
All-terrain Bike rides, Kayaking/canoeing adventures, kite flying, nature walks/foraging, games and more
NOTE: Activities may change depending on Weather and Group Ability.
The sessions are informal and follow our ethos of Safe, Enjoyable, Learning in an outdoor environment.
All young people must come prepared to take part in the activities. You will need a complete change of clothes that is suitable for the weather on the day, including footwear that will stay on your feet (i.e. no flipflops or sliders). If it is particularly cold and wet then you may want to bring 2 sets of clothes so you can change at lunchtime.
You will need to bring a towel and dry set of warm clothes to change into after their session as well.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink and a water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout the day.
ALL SESSIONS WILL START PROMPTLY. ANY LATE ARRIVALS MAY NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE SESSION AND YOUR SESSION FEE WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE.
