Learn how your unique menstrual cycle affects your energy, emotions and creativity, so that you can work with your body rather than constantly pushing through it.

A four-week woodland circle exploring cyclical awareness, emotional patterns and the changing inner seasons of the menstrual cycle.

Open to women and anyone who experiences or has experienced a menstrual cycle.

This course could benefit you if:

  • You have weeks where everything feels easier, followed by times where even ordinary things feel heavier and you don’t fully understand why.
  • You often override your need for rest until your body forces you to slow down.
  • Certain emotions, frustrations or sensitivities seem to return at the same point each month but you struggle to understand what they are trying to show you.
  • You notice shifts in patience, communication or emotional capacity across the month and want to navigate them with more awareness.

  • You want to feel less blindsided by your cycle and more able to work with yourself rather than against yourself.

Over four weeks, you’ll begin to:

  • Understand the emotional and energetic patterns within your cycle
  • Recognise recurring points of depletion, clarity, sensitivity and creativity
  • Learn how to work with changing capacity instead of constantly overriding yourself
  • Develop more honest communication with yourself and others around your needs and limits
  • Build a steadier, more respectful relationship with your body across the month

Each session takes place outdoors around the fire at Leigh Court Farm, with tea, warmth and space to slow down enough to actually notice yourself.

Sessions include practical teaching, guided reflection, relaxation practices with live music, and thoughtful conversation in a grounded and supportive environment.

By the end of the four weeks, you will have a clearer understanding of your own cyclical patterns and a more practical and compassionate way of responding to them in everyday life.

Rather than feeling blindsided by shifts in energy or emotion, you will begin building a more honest and sustainable relationship with yourself across the month.

This course is conducted entirely outside. We do have shelter under a canopy. We will go ahead in all weathers as long as it is safe to do so e.g. no severe weather warnings.

Course Structure
Week 1: Understanding the Inner Seasons of Your Cycle

  • Grounding and arriving. Tune in with where you are right now.
  • Introduction to cycle awareness and the emotional, energetic and physiological patterns of the menstrual cycle.
  • Exploring the “inner seasons” framework as a practical way of understanding changing needs, capacities and rhythms across the month.

Week 2: Inner Winter – Rest, Repair and Reflection

  • Explore your relationship with rest, depletion and repair during menstruation.
  • Learn how rest and repair in winter can change your whole experience of your cycle and how the power of small shifts can lead to you getting more and more of what you need.
  • Explore the full power of menstruation - what is possible?

Week 3: Inner Spring & Summer – Energy, Creativity and Connection

  • Explore how rising energy can support connection, communication and creativity.
  • Reflect on the strengths and blind spots that can emerge during higher-energy phases of the cycle.
  • Consider how visibility, expression and outward focus affect your relationships and sense of self.

Week 4: Inner Autumn – Clarity, Truth and Boundaries

  • Explore the heightened sensitivity and emotional honesty that can emerge before menstruation.
  • Reflect on recurring frustrations, emotional reactions and unmet needs with greater curiosity and awareness.
  • Harvest your key learnings from the course and explore how to continue building a more honest and sustainable relationship with your body, needs and rhythms.
