I began training in traditional Japanese karate in Tasmania, Australia in 1995 before moving to the UK to further my training whilst teaching in London and the surrounding areas.
Together with a team of highly skilled, nationally registered and fully qualified instructors Kenshukai Karate was established in 2000 and has developed over many years to become a staple in the local community.
I am the NAKMAS National Chair, NAKMAS nationally registered senior instructor/examiner and NAKMAS National Chief Referee.
As part of the NAKMAS National Black Belt grading panel I have chaired many national black belt grading’s and am well conversed in NAKMAS policy and procedure.
I am DBS certified allowing me to teach children and vulnerable people and I am accredited to the Equality Standard in Sport.
As the chief instructor of Kenshukai Karate one of the most rewarding aspects of coaching for me is observing the development of my students as they progress through their training. My aim is to instil confidence and build self-esteem in all who attend my classes and I encourage you to continue your training on a consistent basis and persevere with your karate. I look forward to seeing you all in the dojo.
