At Laurel’s Wood, the safety and wellbeing of our children, families, visitors and staff is a key priority.
We offer free on-site parking for cars, mini-buses and coaches. We do not yet have dedicated cycle parking, however we have lots of trees you can lock your bike to! The nearest train stations are Formby and Freshfield, approximately a 6-minute drive from the woodland.
Please drive slowly and take extra care when entering, exiting, parking, or manoeuvring within the grounds, particularly during poor weather or reduced visibility conditions.
We kindly ask all visitors to park in designated areas, walk within designated pedestrian routes where applicable, and follow our onsite safety guidance provided.
Our site is pram-friendly and just a short, flat walk from the car park.
The composting toilet is accessible via a couple of steps.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, welcoming, and community-focused environment for everyone.
