Taught jointly by Lucy Murray and Jonathan Clewley
We will draw upon yogic disciplines such as Kum Nye, Qigong, Pranayama, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra to work with the subtle aspect of our being that lies between the mind and the body. This liminal zone plays a crucial role in our overall sense of wellbeing; and during the session we will aim to rebalance and nourish it through an immersive and relaxed practice of movement and stillness, thereby reducing stress and experiencing an open-hearted sense of wholeness and clarity.
No prior experience is necessary; expect gentle movements interspersed with periods of tranquility, which may be enjoyed either sitting or lying down.
The practice will be suitable for all, but please let us know in advance if you have significant physical constraints, or if you are pregnant.
We will have a break for refreshments part way through the morning.
Please bring your own mat, blanket and cushion or blocks to sit on if you have them. There may be some spare equipment if you need it.
Doors open 15 minutes before class so please arrive in good time to settle yourself.
