Workshop with Emma Zangs

Dancing Clown is based on Emma Zangs' creative process as a dancer, performer and clown wannabe. She will lead a playful session exploring how dance can be funny and absurd. Influenced by contemporary dance and improvisation based techniques, and clowning training (Peta Lilly, Angela De Castro and Lucy Enskat).
No dance experience needed — just a willingness to experiment, laugh, and be a little ridiculous. By the end, you’ll leave with a toolkit of playful creation techniques you can use anywhere.
Open Practice and Networking
11:30 - 13:00
Free time to spend moving in the studio or chatting with friends, colleagues or people you've never met before.
Bring yourself, some water and anything that makes you feel good on the day.
Wear anything that you feel comfortable moving in.
Feel free to bring notebooks/journals, your favourite tea, communal nibbles etc...
Parking
There is no parking at Copperdot but there is plenty of free parking along Whitlingham Lane.
