This group session offers a space to relax and unwind, refreshing the spirits and calming the mind.
Movement Psychotherapy recognises five elements that contribute to overall wellbeing: physical, mental, cognitive, spiritual and social. Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on Five Element theory, aligning the natural elements of Wood, Earth, Fire, Metal and Water with the organs and energy meridians in the body. The resulting movement and meditation practice is Qi Gong, or energy flow exercises.
These sessions are a combination of embodied and somatic practices from Movement Psychotherapy traditional Qi Gong forms for an immersive and holistic approach to wellbeing.

For the sessions, please wear loose comfortable clothing and flat, soft soled shoes.
Please be aware that there is a session in the Hall which will be ending when you arrive for this one. You are welcome to wait in the area outside the room, but please bear in mind that the end of a session is a quiet time of focus and re-balancing and we thank you for being sensitive to this as you wait.
