The Law Society invites you to join Chief High Court Judge Justice Fitzgerald and
Auckland Executive Judge Justice Gault for an engaging session on a major development in the management of commercial litigation in the High Court.
In October 2025, the High Court in Auckland will launch a new Commercial List, representing a significant shift in how commercial cases are managed and heard. The initiative is designed to streamline case progression, reduce interlocutory delays, and ensure earlier hearing dates. You can read more about the new Commercial List initiative here.
This session is a chance to hear directly from the Commercial List Judges about how commercial proceedings will soon be managed in the Auckland High Court and will conclude with a Q&A and light refreshments.
The in-person session will be hosted at Bell Gully, with a Zoom webinar link available for those who wish to join online.
