PAINT Summer Studio
One last chance to create before school starts.
Join us for three special days of painting, drawing, sculpture and creative exploration before the summer holidays come to an end.
PAINT Summer Studio gives children the freedom to experiment with materials, develop their own ideas and enjoy the creative process in a welcoming, artist-led environment.
Rather than following step-by-step instructions, children are encouraged to explore, make choices and create in their own way.
Every PAINT session is built around five simple ideas:
PLAY – Explore materials and ideas.
ASK – Be curious and ask questions.
IMAGINE – Think creatively and develop new possibilities.
NOTICE – Slow down and look more closely.
TRY – Experiment, take risks and see what happens.
Activities may include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collaborative projects and large-scale artwork.
Suitable for children aged 5–13.
Morning Session: 10:00am–1:00pm
Afternoon Session: 1:30pm–4:30pm
Monday • Tuesday • Wednesday only
All materials are provided.

Thank you for booking PAINT Summer Studio at Paint Club Ayrshire.
We're looking forward to welcoming you to the studio for three final days of creativity before the new school term begins.
Before your session, please take a moment to read the information below.
What to bring
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
All art materials and equipment are provided.
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink for the morning session.
Please bring a drink and a small snack for the afternoon session if required.
Arriving at the studio
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the session begins to allow plenty of time to settle in.
During the session
PAINT Summer Studio is designed to encourage creativity, curiosity and experimentation.
There are no templates to follow and no expectations to produce a finished piece of artwork. Instead, children are encouraged to develop their own ideas, explore different materials and create in their own way.
