A guided outdoor session based on Forest School approach, combining led-activities, nature exploration and child-led play for children aged 1–5 years and their grown-ups. Whether you're new to outdoor education or are already a nature lover, these sessions offer the opportunity to connect, with your child, with nature, and with other families.
🌿Each session has a gentle structure that bring children and grown-ups together, alongside plenty of time for children to play, explore and follow their own interests.
🌿 The balance structure of the session gives children the freedom to develop their resilience and independence while also enjoying meaningful shared experiences with their grown-up and the group.
🌿Sessions are supported by a qualified Early Years and Forest School Educator, who is present to guides, encourages and supports each particpant during the session.
During the Session:
Depending on the day, the weather, the season, you can expect a combination of:

There is no pressure for children to join every guided activity. They are welcome to observe, join in when they feel ready, or continue exploring and playing.

⚠️ At Petits Robins, we aim to run our sessions in all weather conditions. However, in the event of a yellow or over weather warning high winds, heavy rain, snow, or ice, and very low or extremely high temperatures are considered high risk to ensure children’s safety, we will carefully assess the conditions before deciding whether it is appropriate to proceed with sessions.
