This is an accredited 1-day wrist fixation workshop aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with wrist fractures. (Please note that this course is preceded by a 2-day hand fixation workshop 18 & 19 March).
The faculty consist of national and international hand surgeons, with a high faculty to delegate ratio. The course will consist of a balanced mix of lectures and practical sessions (using saw bones). Topics include:
Scaphoid fracture fixation
Volar locking plate for distal radius fractures
Ulnar shortening
The course fee includes lunch and online course materials.
