10 - 11.15am - Drills to improve your solo handstand practice
This session is all about helping you work smarter in your own handstand training. Expect creative, strength-building drills and alignment-focused exercises that you can use to refine your handstand practice. You’ll come away with a toolkit of drills that deepen your understanding, sharpen your technique and expand what feels possible upside down.
30 mins break - with coffee & energy ball from Gaffe (onsite coffee shop) - included in ticket price
11.45am - 1pm - Gaining confidence away from the wall
Nervous about getting up into your handstand without the wall? This session will help you work towards freestanding handstands with solid progressions, spotting techniques, and the mindset to trust yourself upside down.
Kit has been studying movement for over 30 years. Starting out as a gymnast before moving into high board diving and trampolining, their love for defying gravity eventually led them to the circus world, where they've been upside down for the last 12 years. Kit teaches handstands, acrobatics, and gymnastics at Cloud Aerial Arts in Manchester, sharing their passion for playful yet precise movement with students of all levels. Kit has honed their handstand practice and teaching to become one of the UK's best handstand teachers
Please arrive in good time to make a prompt start at 10am.
Practice with Ella sessions take place on the Top floor of Yarn Studios, enter via the coffee shop and go upstairs!
Bring water, yoga mat and a pair of socks.

Saturday's check signage, there's plenty of free parking up past Tapas tree.
Sunday's on street parking on Wharf St is free.
There is a paid car park opposite Yarn Studios.
The space will be open 15 mins before class starts - please arrive for a prompt start. If the door is locked on an evening please don't panic, the previous class will be finishing and you will be let in in due course.
The Practice with Ella studio space is located on the top floor, enter via the main entrance next to the coffee shop and go through the double doors and follow signage upstairs.
Please bring your own mat (there are a limited number of mats available to borrow)
