Out & About, Together is a project that offers a series of community, nature and well-being adventures. All events are free of charge.
The aim is to enhance participants’ wellbeing, encourage social connection, and celebrate community togetherness.
The project is funded by Imago and organised and delivered by Righteous Oaks Forest School.
Participants must be over 55 years of age and living within the district of Ashford.
For this session we will be returning to Hole Park for their snowdrop fair.
Lunch, hot drinks, coach travel and entrance fee are all included.
PLEASE NOTE: it will probably be a very cold day, and unlike our last visit to Hole Park we won’t have use of a warm space as it will be in use by the stall holders. The ground is very uneven, and likely to be slippery so this trip is perhaps not suitable for those with limited mobility unless they are attending with a support person.
🎟️ Carers/supporting family members are most welcome to come and will also need to book a ticket please.
Please bring the following with you on the day:
Any medication you might need
Any walking aids you will need
Money for any additional food or drinks you may wish to enjoy
Plenty of warm clothes and very sturdy shoes
