As adults, so many of us spend years trying to reconnect with our bodies, trust ourselves a little more and worry less about what other people think. What if we could help children build some of those foundations from the very beginning?
This special edition Groove Class is designed to bring parents and children together through music, movement and connection. It's an opportunity to spend quality time together, share an experience, create memories and enjoy the simple joy of dancing side by side.
Expect feel-good music, age-appropriate choreography, plenty of encouragement and a whole lot of fun. Whether your child loves to dance or is simply curious to give it a go, this class is all about participation, confidence and connection.
Despite the name, this class is open to mothers, fathers, grandparents, carers, daughters and sons. Everyone is welcome.
We're excited to introduce this special edition class and, if it's loved as much as we think it will be, we'd love to see it become a regular part of the R&B calendar.
Please arrive a little early so you can check in with our friendly team, sign in, and get settled into the space before class starts.
Bring a sweat towel, plenty of water, and wear whatever makes you feel amazing, along with closed-in sneakers so you can move safely and comfortably.
Come with an open mind and just allow yourself to be in the experience. Trust yourself, move in a way that feels good for you, and enjoy your time in class.
We highly recommend wearing loose, comfortable, or baggy clothing if you have it. Groove is designed to feel relaxed and free, and the clothing really complements the style of movement.
