My First Moments – A Four Week Sensory Journey 👶🏻
Those first few months with your baby pass by in the blink of an eye. My First Moments is a beautiful four-week sensory course designed to gently nurture your baby’s early development while helping you create precious memories you’ll treasure forever.
Held beneath the twinkly lights of our calming Sensory Barn, each week focuses on one of your baby’s developing senses through carefully planned activities, familiar songs and gentle sensory experiences.
❤️ Week One – Vision
We’ll introduce your little one to the world of high-contrast imagery, soft lighting and visual stimulation, helping to encourage their developing eyesight in a calm and comforting environment.
❤️ Week Two – Touch
Explore a variety of baby-safe textures while learning about the importance of skin-to-skin contact, gentle touch and nurturing connection between you and your baby.
❤️ Week Three – Sound
Together we’ll discover music, rhythm and gentle sounds, supporting your baby’s listening skills while enjoying familiar songs that become a comforting part of your weekly routine.
❤️ Week Four – Smell
Your baby’s final sensory adventure explores a range of gentle, baby-friendly scents as they experience new smells in a safe and relaxed setting.
To celebrate completing the course, every baby will enjoy a special Glow Baby Graduation, complete with adorable photographs, tiny footprints and keepsakes to treasure for years to come.
❤️ Creating Memories Together
One of the most special parts of My First Moments is the keepsake memory book you’ll create throughout the course. Each week we’ll help you document your baby’s journey with photographs, little memories and milestones from each session, giving you something truly special to look back on as your little one grows.
❤️ Who is this course for?
My First Moments is ideal from around 4-6 weeks old, although every baby develops differently. Please bear in mind that younger babies often have unpredictable feeding and sleep patterns, so don’t worry if your little one needs cuddles, feeds or naps during the session - we completely understand.
The course is most suitable up to around 16 weeks, although many babies continue to enjoy and benefit from the sensory experiences until around 6 months of age.
As well as supporting your baby’s early sensory development, the course offers a wonderful opportunity to meet other new parents and carers, share those early experiences together and build lasting friendships.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your little one for four unforgettable weeks of first moments.

Before You Arrive
We’re so excited to welcome you and your little one to My First Moments.
These early weeks can feel wonderfully magical, but also unpredictable, so please don’t worry if your baby needs feeding, changing, cuddles or a nap during the session. Our classes are completely baby-led, and there’s never any pressure to join in with every activity.
What to Bring
🍼 Milk or feeds for your baby (breastfeeding and bottle feeding are always welcome during the session)
🧷 Plenty of nappies, wipes and anything you usually need for changing
🧸 A favourite comforter or dummy if your baby uses one
👶 A blanket or muslin cloth for your baby’s comfort
📸 Your phone or camera if you’d like to capture a few special moments (we’ll also take photos for your keepsake book, with your permission)
💧 A drink for yourself - we know looking after you is just as important too! You are also welcome to grab a coffee from our play cafe next door too for during the class.
During the Course
✨ Please arrive a few minutes before your session begins so you can settle in comfortably.
✨ The Sensory Barn is a shoes-off space, so please do bring socks with you.
✨ All sensory experiences have been carefully planned to be gentle, age-appropriate and suitable for young babies.
✨ Each week we’ll add to your beautiful keepsake memory book, so you’ll leave the course with something truly special to treasure.
✨ Please leave buggies in the car where possible as we cannot facilitate them in our sensory barn, we do however have a small buggy park outside that you are welcome to use.
A Gentle Reminder
Every baby develops at their own pace. Some will sleep through activities, some will happily watch the lights, and others may want to feed or cuddle for most of the session - and that’s absolutely perfect.
There is no expectation for your baby to perform, interact or reach certain milestones. Simply being together, sharing these first experiences and making memories is what My First Moments is all about.
We can’t wait to share these precious first weeks with you and your little one. ❤️
