This class is great for children who already understand English! Either native speakers or attending an English kindergarten because although we use English as the main language to communicate, we are doing so playfully.
We sing, create, play and explore music with our whole bodies.
Together the children and I will be exploring music, working on our coordination - voice and breath, body and voice. On our ear and melodic and rhythmic memory. Song creation and song arrangements.
We'll be playing amongst other instruments Chime bars, xylophones, Orff instruments( claves, drums, maracas etc), ukulele and piano.
There is no expectation for the children to be "practicing"- for me improving their general musicianship, giving room to their creativity, playing together and enjoyment of music is what stands in the foreground.
To ensure smooth running of sessions, I'd be very grateful that you read and follow the following rules:
The studio is located in a building which is a home to many. Please be respectful of noise coming in and out of the property- especially in the shared spaces like the Hall. You are responsible for your child and their behavior in the hallway.
No pushchairs/ scooters etc can be left outside in the hallway- they can be put to one side of the entrance room or in the little room on the left.
Opposite near Mediamarkt is a space to chain up bikes.
The Music room itself is a shoe free zone. Please remove and store outdoor shoes in the appropriate area.
If you'd like to bring another person to the class, please ask. Whether it is possible or not, is dependent on availability and space.

Winter term ticket
This ticket is valid for the 5 sessions of the Winter term (20th Feb- 20th March) . Incase of the course leaders illness, a make up session will be held on the 27th of March.

2 Trial classes
This ticket is for new families only! It enables your child to attend two consecutive classes, to see if they like the classes and for me to see if the group dynamics of the class also work. For these first two classes the parent is in the room sitting at the side. To make sure that the group dynamics of the class come into flow, the trial classes are available for: the first two sessions: 16th and 23th January, and for the 5/6th session 27th February and the 6thof March.
