Come along to Mendsday...
Mendsday is an un-taught social meet-up, where you can fix your clothes in good company, making use of our beautiful space, sewing machine and equipment.
It's basically a chance to get through some of that mending pile, with support and encouragement from fellow menders.
The session takes place at Bridge 5 Mill, usually, but not always on a Wednesday. Come along anytime between 6:30-8pm, but please book a ticket so we know who's coming. We may need to reschedule or cancel the event, and this means we can update you about any changes.
Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-can basis to make mending accessible to as many people as possible. If you can afford to pay for a ticket, your support means we can continue running events like this for our community.
Poziom: Advanced, Beginner & Intermediate
Skills: this is not a taught workshop, but you can expect to learn (and share) mending skills with your fellow menders.
Level: No sewing experience necessary - your fellow menders will offer guidance to beginners.
Bring: a mending project or two and any specific materials/supplies you need. We'll have some supplies on hand but can't guarantee we'll have exactly what you need, so come prepared!
Feel free to bring a snack - but note that the event takes place in a vegetarian space, so veggie foods only please!
**Our cancellation policy does not apply to Mendsday bookings. Regretfully, we cannot offer any refunds or transfers on Mendsday bookings, as the cost of processing these requests is greater than the ticket value. If Stitched Up has to cancel the event for any reason refunds will be available.
