This event is part of SYBRG's project Actions for Climate Change in Fishlake & Sykehouse funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The walk will be led by Dave Gash and Ian Rotherham starting outside the churchyard at dusk and then going round some of the lanes and by the wetlands to look for bats with the aid of detectors. We are expecting to pick up several species. The walk is suitable for beginners but the more experienced are welcome to join.
as we will be walking on / along the public highway at dusk and into the dark this event is only suitable for older children and adults with reasonable mobility. you will need to bring a torch with you to help light the way.
