Singing Mamas Sheffield is a gentle, women‑centred singing community. We gather in welcoming spaces to sing simple, beautiful songs taught entirely by ear: no pressure, no performance, no experience needed. If you can talk, you can sing.
Babies and children are welcome in the circle - they are free to potter, feed, sleep, wriggle, or make noise. You never need to apologise for tending to your little one.
We sing for wellbeing, for nervous‑system soothing, and for the joy of being together. After singing, we share tea, cake, and gentle conversation.
Whether you come for a full block, a one‑off session or a late‑pregnancy visit, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
Babies and children are warmly welcome. We sit together in a circle with a rug and toys in the middle. Older children can potter, explore or set up their own activity space.
There is no such thing as “late” in Singing Mamas. You are welcome exactly as you are, whenever you arrive.
Crying, feeding, wriggling, shouting, and settling are all natural parts of our group. You never need to apologise for tending to your child.
We sing simple, beautiful songs taught entirely by ear: no sheet music, no solos, no pressure. You don’t need any singing experience at all.
After singing, we share tea, coffee, cake, and a gentle bit of chat.
