Take an hour to pause, breathe and reconnect. Join a welcoming mindfulness session designed to help you navigate stress, physical discomfort and the demands of everyday life with greater ease and awareness.
This month's theme is:
🌿 Mindfulness & Physical Discomfort
When we experience physical discomfort, it's natural to resist it, worry about it, or become frustrated by it. Mindfulness offers a different approach, helping us notice the difference between the physical sensations themselves and the thoughts, emotions, and tension that often build around them.
If you are living with discomfort such as pain, tension, fatigue, stress-related symptoms, or recovering from illness or injury, this session will explore how mindfulness can help us relate differently to these experiences.
Together we'll explore gentle body awareness practices and discover how bringing curiosity, kindness, and acceptance to our experience can help reduce suffering, even when discomfort is present.
These sessions are suitable for anyone who:
• Feels the pace of life is relentless• Notices stress building without much space to pause• Experiences physical discomfort, tension or fatigue• Is curious about mindfulness but isn't sure where to begin• Would like practical tools to support everyday wellbeing
This isn't about clearing your mind or getting it right. It's about learning simple, practical ways to:
• Step out of autopilot• Respond rather than react• Develop greater awareness of your body and mind• Create a little more space and ease in everyday life

When you arrive at RFL House, please take a seat in our waiting area. Jackie will come down to welcome you and show you up to the session room.
What to Bring
• Comfortable clothing suitable for sitting and gentle movement
• A bottle of water
• Any cushions, blankets or supports that help you feel comfortable (chairs will also be available)
Accessibility & Comfort
This session includes guided mindfulness practices and gentle body awareness exercises. Everything is optional, and you are encouraged to participate in a way that feels right for you. There is no pressure to share personal experiences with the group.
