This intensive one-day course is designed specifically for mountaineers, climbers, and outdoor professionals operating in remote and challenging environments. Participants will learn how to assess and manage serious injuries using a mountain-adapted ABCDE approach, with a strong focus on trauma care, hypothermia prevention, and evacuation decision-making in poor weather and difficult terrain. Through realistic scenarios and hands-on practical sessions, the course develops the confidence and leadership skills needed to respond effectively when help may be hours away. [Note, this is not a 16-hour first aid course and does not meet the requirements for Outdoor Instructor Qualifications. This course is designed to be a more in depth and is aimed specifically at the kinds of incidents walkers, climbers and mountaineers may encounter when adventures go wrong)
