This unit describes the skills and knowledge required use or operate a high pressure water jetting system to clean, prepare, abrade, cut or demolish concrete, steel or other plant, equipment, vessels or infrastructure.
ENTRY CRITERIA
Requirement to demonstrate a level of written and spoken English to do this: Equivalent to Level 1 English communication skills.

MSMWJ304 Operate a High-Pressure Water Jetting System has a prerequisite requirement of unit MSMWJ202 Use a high-pressure water jetting system. Evidence of 120 hours of operations under supervision required before MSMWJ304 Certificate is issued.
(Supervisor must already hold MSMWJ304 Unit of competency)
All training is subject to minimum student numbers

MSMWJ304 Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting system
This course describes how to operate a high pressure water jetting system. It also includes how to clean, prepare, abrade, cut or demolish concrete, steel or other plant, equipment, vessels or infrastructure.*Pre-requisite unit MSMWJ202 Use high pressure water jetting equipment. *Evidence of 120 hours of operation required under supervision of an operator who currently holds the MSMWJ304 Unit of competency. this can be done pre or post training.

On completion of training, student will be issued with MSMWJ202, which satisfies the prerequisite requirement and allows users to operate a high pressure water jetting under supervision.Once students have completed 120 hours of supervised operation on a high pressure water jetting system, we then issue the MSMWJ304 Unit of Competency (Supervisor level) For students who have already completed the 120 hours under supervision prior to training, we can issue both MSMWJ202 and MSMWJ304 upon successful completion of the initial training day.PLEASE NOTE: Evidence of 120 hours of operations required under supervision (supervisor is someone who already hold MSMWJ304 unit of competency) before MSMWJ304 Certificate is issued.
