Wilder are so excited to be part of this years ART ROUTE festival!
Join Wilder for a family friendly tie dye woodland workshop to explore the hidden colours of Autumn. Using foraged plants such as elderberries and conker husks, we’ll experiment with simple tie-dye techniques on the campfire to see what nature reveals. This will be a playful, process-led session—expect soft colours and unexpected results! No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to see what happens. There will be hammocks placed around the woodland for you to relax in whilst our colourful creations develop in the pot!
Suitable for children aged 8+ with accompanying adults.
Refreshments e.g. herbal tea / hot chocolate provided.
🍁Please dress appropriately for this event - the natural materials we are using will stain clothing, so don't wear anything that you don't want to get stained.
🍁Even if it's dry, wear waterproof trousers and jacket.
🍁There will be a tarp shelter set up if raining
🍁A foam seat pad will be available to kneel/sit on - please bring a chair if you need something more comfortable to sit on
🍁Please bring your own snack/drink if you have specific dietary requirements
🍁Wilder will provide cloth pieces to dye - you are welcome to bring along your own cotton pieces to experiment with, providing they are not too large e.g. a small tote bag would be fine.
🍁Adults will be responsible for their children at all times.
🍁A discreet toilet tent will be available for any little toilet emergencies
🍁Handwashing will be available
🍁Please try to arrive on foot - if driving please park at Halhill and walk to our meeting point on Kellie Road.
