Come and join us at our Spring themed family fun session. Take part in activities that help us to understand nature using natural materials and celebrate all things Spring! We might even throw in some easter treats so don't forget to add any children's dietary requirements on the booking page.
We will also have our usual activities for your children to explore such as the mud kitchen, scavenger hunts, natural crafts and marshmallows toasted on the fire. Sessions are suitable for all children from walking toddlers to teens.
Non participating babies are free. Sorry, no dogs allowed on site.
Wood Lane Quarry is well hidden but is only a few hundred metres from the main road where on road parking is available and a main bus route runs.
Wood Lane is off Bristol Road Lower and access from Wood Lane is initially tarmacked but becomes uneven and cobbled over the last few meters. Wood Lane postcode is BS23 2TR. You will need to walk up Wood Lane to the top of the tarmac and then up into the woods for approx. 50 metres. Play Wild entrance will be on your right. The gates are kept locked so please wait for a member of staff to greet you.
The entrance gate has a What3Words location of Forget.Rarely.Bared. (https://w3w.co/forget.rarely.bared). The ground within the quarry is also uneven due to the nature of the site and may not be suitable for wheelchair users, pushchairs or those who find uneven ground a challenge.
Please wear long trousers to avoid scratches and insect bites. It is often cooler under the trees so layers are recommended. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather.

Please park on the main road not on Wood Lane. Walk up Wood Lane to the top of the tarmac and hen continue u the cobbled path into the woods. There will be green gates on your right about 50 metres into the woods. A member of the team will meet you at the gates.
