Bring your child to our base at Wood Lane Quarry, Weston-super-Mare, for a fun packed morning of Forest School activities (children only). The Forest School approach gives each child the opportunity to take part in activities by exploring their environment, learning new skills, developing physically and learning what their body can do, nurturing emotional and social development and learning about their environment and the world around them.
We will be provide a selection of activities which may include learning how to safely light and extinguish a fire, exploring the environment and using natural resources for activities.
Activities are all run and facilitated by qualified Forest School Leaders. At Play Wild we plan our activities to teach life skills as well as supporting social skills and emotional health and well-being for the children and young people who attend.
Refreshments and all resources will be provided.
The quarry is up Wood Lane, off Bristol Road Lower (not the Old Town Quarry). We request that you park on the main road or other streets so that our neighbours are not inconvenienced.
Directions: Walk up Wood Lane to the end of the tarmac and then follow it straight up into the woods. A small clearing will open on your right with a big oak tree and green gates. What3Words location: forget.rarely.bared.
We will meet at the gate for 9.30am. The gate will be locked for safeguarding and security so, if you arrive after this time, please ring 07391 556939 and we will come and let you in!

Please park on the main road not on Wood Lane. Walk up Wood Lane to the top of the tarmac and hen continue u the cobbled path into the woods. There will be green gates on your right about 50 metres into the woods. A member of the team will meet you at the gates.
