Dear Wild Woman,
This gathering is for you.
This gathering is for all of you who hear the "call of the wild", the whisper within the heart that says "awaken to yourself and to a life worth living". It is for you if you are yearning for a deeper understanding of who you are before anyone else told you who and what you should be. It is for you if you want to have a safe place to explore what your authentic self feels and look like. It is for you if you want to have slow time to connect with nature, the land and like minded women.
We will be gathering for a whole weekend, exploring the Wild Woman archetype, coming together in circle, workshops, dancing, and taking part in ceremonies immersed in the beautiful nature of 'The Nameless Dean' in the Scottish Borders.

The intention for WWG 2024 is to awaken to the elements within ourselves through shamanic practices, ceremony, yoga, dance, sound and breathwork.

This weekend, I invite you to journey back to our primal roots as we embrace the wild woman archetype and connect with the four elements. We will tap into the energy of the earth, water, air, and fire and explore how they relate to our inner selves. Each element holds its own unique energy and symbolism, and by connecting with and honouring them, we can tap into our own wildness and embrace the essence of who we are..

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡?
The Wild Woman archetype is a powerful and ancient symbol that has been present in myths, stories, and cultures across the world. She embodies the untamed, primal, and instinctual aspects of the feminine. Often associated with nature, intuition, and fierce independence, the Wild Woman represents a liberating force that encourages women to break free from societal constraints and embrace their authentic selves.

The Wild Woman archetype is about connecting with the deepest, most authentic parts of ourselves that have been suppressed or forgotten over time. She is the embodiment of our raw, instinctual nature—the part of us that trusts our intuition, celebrates sensuality, and embraces the self completely without shame. In folklore and mythology, the Wild Woman is often depicted as a primal, untamed force of nature. She is connected to the wilderness, animals, the cycles of the moon and the earth, she is also connected with her inner moon cycle (menstrual power) . She dances under the stars, howls at the moon, and listens to the whispers of the wind. Her strength lies in her ability to move through life with courage and a fierce sense of freedom, unapologetically embracing her true essence.

My vision for the weekend is to come together to enjoy ourselves, celebrate sisterhood, our wildness, to create deeper connection with ourselves, nature and like minded women.

Friday:
3:30-5:30pm - Arrival - Setting up.
6pm - Pot luck dinner (bring food to share).
7:3opm - Opening Circle + Shamanic Sound Bath & Shamanic Healing with Pollyana from Primal Rising, Ali Taylor from Rainbow Warrior Wellbeing, and Elaine-Skyfire.

Saturday:
8:30am: Movement practice - Yoga.
11am: Breathwork + movement practice - Air & Water.
1pm: Break.
3:30pm: Body Painting, Henna, Drumming and Singing Circle.
5:30pm: Break.
7:30pm: The Pagan Point Ceremony - Fire & Earth.

Sunday:
9am: Movement practice + Closing Ceremony.
12pm: End of gathering.

𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗔 might best be described as a transformational guide. She works with individuals and groups helping them to access their personal power, to deepen their connection with community, with the land, and ultimately with themselves. She is a passionate yoga teacher with 18 years of experience. She is also trained as a Shamanic Practitioner, Sound Healer, Reiki Practitioner (and a few other things), and offers monthly Cacao and Ecstatic Dance with her husband in the Scottish Borders. At the moment Pollyana is fully invested in bringing back to life a 150+ years church hall in Selkirk to make it her own studio.
