Introducing Project OK: Bringing movement & connection to isolated communities!
The Together Project are thrilled to introduce our friends at Project OK—an inclusive 'outreach performance' aimed at bringing creative dance and movement to isolated communities in Central & North Warwickshire.
Project OK (funded by The National Lottery and Arts Council England) are inviting children aged 3-4 to join the older adults living in Anya Court care home for a creative, intergenerational 'dance and movement workshop'. This workshop is a unique opportunity for all ages to explore the power of movement and freedom of expression in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Positive impact: Experience first-hand how the power of movement and expression can positively impact mental health and wellbeing.
Community connection: Experience the magic of connection as children, parents/guardians, and older adults come together to join a wider community effort to ignite social change and foster connections within the local community.
Unique intergenerational experience: Be part of something truly special and help older adults living in care homes express themselves through movement and creativity.
Due to the nature of our audience participating, we ask that you don’t attend if you have any coronavirus or cold-like symptoms.
