Details

Join graphic novel author Mat Heagerty for an introductory workshop about how to write/draw a graphic novel.

Work on your "book" throughout the summer and receive feedback from Miss B. We will have a Young Authors Reading at the end of the summer.

Mat Haegerty writes graphic novels like 'Lumberjackula', ‘Martian Ghost Centaur', ‘Unplugged and Unpopular' and the forthcoming 'Indoor Kid'. Mat is dyslexic, and struggled a bunch in school, now he travels the country talking to elementary and middle school students about the strengths of learning disabilities.
