This October, the Putnam Valley Library is turning our gallery into a celebration of community creativity — and we want you to be part of it! We're inviting artists of all skill levels, from middle school students through adults, to participate in our first-ever community art exhibit.
How it works:
Register on our calendar to claim your 5x7 canvas (limit one per person).
Pick up your canvas at the library.
Use any medium you'd like to bring your vision to life — painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and more.
Return your finished canvas to the library by September 18th, with your name, phone number, and the title of your work written on the back.
Your artwork will be displayed in our community gallery throughout the month of October. All artists and community members will be invited to a special Art Show Reception to celebrate the creativity of our neighbors.
Need space or supplies? Join us for an Open Paint day at the library! We'll provide paints, brushes, and other materials — just bring your imagination.
Please note: We ask that all submissions remain appropriate for a public community space and refrain from political, religious, graphic, or nude content. Let’s keep it colorful, welcoming, and joyful.
