Neurodiversity Day

We would love for you to be part of our Neurodiversity Day at Renboga!

The day is all about celebrating the unique and vibrant Neurodiverse community. We are offering a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for us to come together for fun, support, rest and connection with people, nature, and creativity.

There will be a variety of optional free-flow activities for adults and children, as well as spaces to rest, walk and play and plenty of tea, coffee and water. Feel free to bring along a picnic; there's loads of space to lay out a blanket!

We have invited some relevent organisations, experts, and individuals with lived experience who will be ready to talk, listen and share information about services, resources and people they have found useful, for you to follow up with afterwards and access more support as needed.

The day will feature a Lending Library of sensory toys, aids and books. All guests are welcome to contribute to this, so if you have any of the above please do bring it along. We will label everything and aim to return it on the day but please don't bring anything too precious just in case.

The Neurodiversity Day will take place at the Renboga Art Centre; a Mongolian yurt, full of art materials and surrounded by wild flowers and outside space. Renboga is an excellent space to come together for this event because it offers a connection to nature, abundant space for guests to use as they please, and the freedom to make a mess. The Neurodiversity Day is a drop-in event, so arrive whenever you're ready between 12 and 5. This is a not-for-profit project; all professionals are volunteers. Our tickets are based on a pay-as-you-feel-model allowing us to support low-income families, to cover the costs of the materials and staffing to run the day and to fund further neurodiversity activities at Renboga.
Payment is optional; please pay what you can when booking, the suggested ticket donation price per person would be £10.

We hope that our festival will inspire and uplift neurodiverse individuals, their families, and their friends and help build a stronger community.
