FREE Practical Workshop
Learn how to construct a freestanding plant support using rustic and natural materials.
You'll get hands-on experience using a range of tools and construction techniques to make an attractive structure that can be used to support climbing and scrambling plants in the garden.
All tools and materials will be provided, and your finished structure can be entered into the Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.

This practical workshops form part of the West Midlands Grow & Garden 2026: Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.
Come along, learn a new skill and make or grow an entry for the competition. Tools and materials required for the workshops will be provided.
This is a practical activity and may take place outdoors, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather and wear clothes and footwear that you don't mind getting dirty.
Free drinks will be provided.
