2024 RYA Scotland Youth & Junior Championships

The RYA Scotland Youth & Junior Championships is an annual event for young sailors in the junior and youth classes, designed to encourage sailors of all racing abilities onto the race track, to compete against each other in a 2 day racing regatta.

The event runs in conjunction with British Youth Sailing's Regional Junior Championships happening across the rest of the UK. We hope that being at the start of summer, more sailors will be able to attend.

The event consists of a championship fleet which brings together the best sailors across Scotland to compete against each other on home waters. In addition we run a fully supported Onboard fleet for junior classes that is a great place for those starting their racing journey to get some experience of a bigger event.

Registration is from 0830 to1000 on the Saturday morning and the sailor briefing will be at 1030. Entries will close at 23:45 on Sunday 9th June 2024.

Information from Loch Tummel SC - Camping & Catering

The club will be open on the afternoon of Friday 21st June from 12pm onwards.

Camping will be available for both Friday and Saturday night. If you plan to camp and have an evening meal please let Loch Tummel SC know by emailing admin@lochtummelsc.org.

Payment for evening meals ordered will be taken on the Saturday morning next to registration. A vegetarian option will be available. The evening meal and dessert will be served around 6pm on the Saturday evening dependent on the time sailing finishes

The following food will be available to purchase at the club:

• Breakfast rolls (bacon or egg) and tattie scones will be available before sailing each morning
• Lunch will be available in the clubhouse on both days with snacks and drinks available all day and a selection of home baked cakes
