Introduction - starting class for complete beginners.
L1 Day 1 - next step for anyone who has completed Introduction class
Level: Beginner
What to Bring:
Rear attach dog harness ( ’no pull’ type that tighten are not suitable)
10M long line (no retractable leads)
Don’t worry if you don’t have a harness or long line you can borrow one of mine for the intro.
Scent Article (an item of your own recently worn clothing, socks are perfect)
Lots of super tasty treats for your dog and/or their motivation toy
Water bowl
Warm clothes, layers, rain gear, sun cream - we are outdoors in Ireland 😊
Suitable footwear, the training field may be wet or muddy
We typically work one dog at a time, then the dog rests in the car between runs. No training or commands required; we go though everything step by step, each run builds on the last.
Partners are welcome, if they bring a scent article they can join in. However it is not a suitable environment for young children. Everyone is welcome to have tea & coffee after.
