Our school holiday nature club follows a Forest School ethos, with lots of arts and crafts and bushcraft activities, such as:
• den/shelter building
• team games
• wood work
• tool use
• arts and crafts
• fire lighting
• campfire cooking
• and lots of outdoor play
We spend the whole day outside, in the woods. Children will need to bring backed lunch and snacks, spare clothes and waterproofs if it's likely to rain.
Please note that we're only allowed to take children who are 5 years and older, even if they are already attending school.
We will be outdoors all day so children need to dress appropriately, with spare clothes on hand in case they get wet (we have lots of water play opportunities at this site), sunscreen & hat, and waterproofs if it looks like it's going to rain.
They will also need to bring lunch and snacks. As we may have children with allergies joining us, we ask that the snacks be NUT FREE please.
