As an Outdoor Educator I’m super passionate about spending time in nature. I love connecting with others and sharing my passion. I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of time outdoors for our mental and physical health and think it is never too early to introduce little people to nature in all its forms, from mud to clouds, trees to minibeasts and everything in between.
Like Ema, the focus of my sessions is about creating a space where children can feel free to explore their natural environment at their pace, using their curiosity to lead their enjoyment and learning.
I have an HND in Early Childhood Studies and I am working towards being a fully fledged Forest school teacher. I have worked with children for many years, including as a nanny, which I continue to do, since my eldest was born in 2016. I run nature clubs for under 5s and their families during the week and ‘Wild’ birthday parties with Ema on the weekends.
When I’m not working I can be found riding my lovely mob of children around South East London in our cargo bike, looking after our chickens and cooking veggie curries.
