There has been a rapid growth in microcredentials over recent years, providing learners and organisations access to continuing education and professional learning in a more flexible manner. These microcredentials are being offered by new companies and on new platforms, as well as by more traditional educational institutions.

Like any relatively new venture and service, there are questions about how does an organisation respond to this opportunity?

This online panel session seeks to explore some of these practical, organisational and operational perspectives.

Join as at this SEFI@work session, in conjunction with the International Association for Continuing Engineering Education (IACEE), to hear from our three panellist providing viewpoints and insights from Europe and the USA on microcredentials.

Panelists:

  • Robert Prakash: CTO Stanford Online and President, IACEE
  • Zarka Denes, Director, Centre for Continuing Engineering Education, Budapest University of Technology and Economics
  • Prof Vladimir Janicek, Czech Technical University in Prague, Head of Centre for Lifelong Learning

The panel session will be facilitated by Aniko Kalman and Rigas Hadzilacos.
