Join us at Ackers Adventure for a game of Disc (or Frisbee) Golf. This is a similar game to "regular" golf except that it's played with a Disc. Players throw the disc as close as possible to a specially designed target called a basket, then throw again from where the disc landed, trying to get into the basket in the lowest number of throws. The chains on a target are there to help catch the disc by deflecting it into the basket.
Disc golf is a fantastic fun activity for any age or group, anybody can throw a disc, some are just better than others - even the regular players end up in the bushes!
This can be played by anyone - no skill needed! Fantastic outdoor fun for all the family!
Don't forget to bring a pencil to record your scores.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ACTIVITY IS AVAILABLE TO OVER 11'S ONLY.
Meet in reception 10 minutes before start time.
Please note, whilst the venue has tried to make this as accessible as possible, the course is in a woodland area and there is potential of some rough terrain and / or raised rootes from trees. There are also some steep paths which would be difficult to tackle in a wheelchair.
